Our wandering along different winemaking trails

Tozudo

Tozudo is the best expression of the character of different varieties in our soils. Malbec, Torrontés, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon vines carefully combined with blocks of sedimentary rocks, ferric clays, sandy loams, quartz and composite granite soils, to enhance its distinctiveness.

Tozudo

Gran Malbec

2020

Expressive, elegant and complex, this wine represents the versatility and potential of the soils of Block # 4 in Alto Cardones, where the sandy and granite soils foster drainage,  reducing humidity and stressing the vines. This particular quality of the soil, along with the Guyot pruning technique that allows for ideal exposure to the Pucará Valley sun, gives the wine its rich character and makes it a superb example of an Extreme Altitude malbec.

Malbec

2020

An explosion of fruit in a vibrant malbec harvested from the sandy loams of Block # 1 in La Guardia, an area that derives its name from a look-out point used by the Incas to anticipate attacks.  This wine’s expressiveness is the result of low plant density and yield management, cane pruning and leafing on the morning-sun exposure of the vineyard.

Torrontés

2022

Our answer to a long mission to create a tribute to the iconic varietal of Salta.  Tozudo Torrontés surprises for its expressiveness and elegance. The clays of Block # 2 of Ancestros and the extreme altitude bestows our Torrontés grapes an unparalleled freshness and acidity, bringing out the fruit notes you expect in a Torrontés.  A single-wire support system, as opposed to the traditional parral, allows greater sun exposure and early ripening.

Original price was: $ 132.000,00.Current price is: $ 101.970,00.
